Job summary

Hayley Group in Andover is seeking a part-time Delivery Driver to join the team. You will load the van, prepare delivery notes, and perform deliveries in and around Andover with a focus on reliability and customer service.

The role is Fridays, 8 hours, with potential overtime to cover holidays or sickness. Applicants should have a full UK driving licence, prior delivery experience, and a good knowledge of the local area.

Responsibilities

• Load the company van at the Andover branch and prepare delivery notes.
• Make timely deliveries to customers in the Andover area and surrounding regions.
• Plan and follow efficient routes to complete deliveries.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and colleagues.

We’re excited to offer a brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic Delivery Driver to support the busy team on a part time basis at our branch in Andover.

About the Delivery Driver role:

In this varied role you’ll find yourself starting the day at our branch in Andover, loading the company van with various deliveries as well as preparing the delivery notes to go with them. You’ll then use your local knowledge to complete several timely and accurate deliveries to various customers in the areas surrounding Andover. You’ll play a key part in keeping things moving smoothly while enjoying the independence and variety that comes with being out on the road.

We’re looking for someone with a good mix of previous driving experience as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. This is a part time role, working 8 hours per day every Friday, with the opportunity of overtime to cover holidays/sickness.
