As a Delivery Consultant, you will work closely with IBM clients and partners to design, deliver, and optimize IBM Technology solutions that align with your clients’ goals. In this role, you will apply your technical expertise to ensure world-class delivery while leveraging your consultative skills such as problem-solving issue- / hypothesis-based methodologies, communication, and service orientation skills. • Solving Client Challenges Effectively: Understanding clients’ main challenges and developing solutions that helps them reach true business value by working thru the phases of design, development integration, implementation, migration and product support with a sense of urgency .

• Agile Planning and Execution: Creating and executing agile plans where you are responsible for installing and provisioning assets, testing, migrating to production, and day-two operations.

• Technical Solution Workshops: Conducting and participating in technical solution workshops.

A Delivery Consultant for Data Fabric plays a crucial role in helping organisations implement and integrate Data Fabric solutions to manage their data effectively.

Primary Objectives:

1. Design and Implement Data Fabric Solutions: The Delivery Consultant works with clients to design, implement, and configure Data Fabric solutions that meet their specific business needs, ensuring seamless data integration, management, and analytics.

2. Data Integration and Migration: They facilitate the integration of various data sources, migrate data to the Data Fabric platform, and ensure data quality, integrity, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with clients to gather business requirements, identify pain points, and define project scope.

2. Solution Design: Design and architect Data Fabric solutions that meet client needs, including data integration, data quality, data governance, and analytics.

3. Implementation and Configuration: Implement and configure Data Fabric solutions, including data ingestion, data processing, and data storage

4. Data Migration and Integration: Migrate data from various sources to the Data Fabric platform, ensuring data consistency, quality, and security.

5. Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure the solution meets client requirements and is free from defects.

6. Training and Knowledge Transfer: Provide training and knowledge transfer to clients on the implemented solution, ensuring they can manage and maintain it effectively.

7. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and internal teams, to ensure successful project delivery.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Experience with Cloud (AWS, IBM Cloud, Azure) and Cloud concepts (Openshift, Kubernetes etc)

• Deep experience with data governance, data integration and related technologies (Information Governance Catalogue, Information Analyzer, Watson Knowledge Catalog, Lineage, Advanced Data Privacy, Data Virtualization, DataStage)

• Experience with data integration, data migration, and data governance modernisation

• Strong communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Experience with software architectural design, application development, integration, and testing.

• Solid skills and knowledge of IBM’s Master Data Management (MDM-AE and MDM-SE) or IBM Match 360, or MDM concepts in general.

• Knowledge and experience in IBM Cloud Pak for Data

• Ability to work with diverse technical teams and clients.
