Job summary

The Best Connection Swindon is looking for a Driver's Mate / Assembly Operative to join our delivery team in Swindon. The successful candidate will assist the driver with delivery, assembly and installation of products at customer premises, providing a white glove delivery service.

This role suits someone with assembly or installation experience, who enjoys customer interaction and prides themselves on outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering and assembling products in customer's homes or commercial premises is desirable.
• Experience in a customer-facing environment is desirable.
• Knowledge of manual handling procedures is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver with the safe loading and unloading of products.
• Deliver goods to customer's homes and business premises in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assemble a variety of products using hand tools, following assembly instructions where required.
• Carry out heavy lifting and manual handling safely.
