Robert Langford in London is seeking a 3.5t Furniture Delivery Driver & Installer to join a premium two-person home delivery team. You will deliver to customers' doors, perform safe transit, assemble furniture, and ensure a pristine room left behind.

This Monday–Friday role offers stable hours (7:00–16:00), a supportive team, and full training with a premium uniform. You must have a clean UK driving license and the physical ability for heavy lifting.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence (Category B) with a clean record.
• Proven bed assembly and headboard installation experience.
• Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting daily.
• Proficient with basic power tools (drills, hex keys, spirit levels).
• Reliable, punctual and customer-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5-tonne van to deliver to residential locations.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks.
• Follow multi-drop routes to meet arrival windows.
• Load and secure furniture safely to avoid damage.
• Assist with heavy lifting and move items through homes.
• Assemble furniture and install heads/bed frames.
• Provide premium white-glove service and collect signatures.

Job Role

Working as part of a dedicated two‑person crew, you will operate a 3.5-tonne van to deliver an exceptional "white-glove" experience directly into customers’ homes. You will be responsible for safe transit, careful room‑of‑choice placement, flawless furniture assembly, and pristine clean‑up. This role requires a polite, customer‑first attitude, heavy lifting fitness, and high attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Driving & Delivery:

• Drive a 3.5-tonne delivery van safely across residential areas.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks and report and issues.
• Follow optimized multi-drop routes to hit scheduled arrival windows.
• Load and secure furniture components safety to avoid damage.
• Carry heavy goods safely up staircases and through tight residential spaces.

Assembly & Installation:

• Assemble diverse bed types, including divans, ottomans, and upholstered frames.
• Fit, align, and securely mount structural, wall, or bed‑fixed headboards.
• Use hand and power tools cleanly without damaging premium fabrics or timbers.
• Clear away and recycle all packaging, leaving the room pristine.

Customer Service:

• Provide a polite, premium "white-glove" service in clients’ homes.
• Call customers ahead of arrival to provide accurate timing updates.
• Collect customer signatures on completion.

Requirements

• Licence: Full UK Driving Licence (Category B) with a clean driving record.
• Experience: Proven experience in bed assembly and headboard installation.
• Fitness: Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting daily.
• Skills: Proficient with basic power tools (drills, hex keys, spirit levels).
• Attributes: Reliable, punctual, and possesses a strong customer‑first attitude.
