About the role

As the Delivery and Operations Manager for Cloud Platforms, you will be the accountable owner for the Partnership's Google Cloud Platforms (GCP). You will oversee the provision of secure, performant, and cost-effective technical solutions to meet business needs. Your responsibilities include facilitating the migration of infrastructure components to public cloud (GCP) and simplifying technologies within the area. You will establish and maintain operational excellence across the Partnership Cloud Ecosystem (PCE), leading a team of Partners, service providers, and stakeholders. Working alongside Architecture and Product colleagues, you will define the vision for our cloud platforms, prioritize work, and support business outcomes through expertise and leadership of platform engineering teams.

• Salary: £75,000 - £140,000
• Contract type: Permanent
• Working pattern: Hybrid approach, balancing office and home working based on personal and business needs
• Location: Bracknell/Pimlico Head Office

Key responsibilities

• Leading the development and delivery of our Cloud Platform strategy
• Managing relationships with strategic vendors, including Google
• Serving as the escalation point for your technology domain
• Implementing Operational Excellence
• Driving adoption of DevSecOps practices
• Providing technical oversight of Google Cloud platforms
• Enhancing automation and cost efficiencies
• Mentoring and inspiring a diverse team of Product Owners and Platform Engineers

You will also contribute to cost management, security policy, and collaborate with Infrastructure and Product teams to embed capabilities across areas.

Essential skills and experience

• Proven track record in leading large-scale technology transformations and cloud migrations
• Experience in IT delivery within lean and agile environments
