Job summary

Henderson Group's Delish Deli at Spar Loughview in Lurgan is recruiting a Daily Deli Team Member. This role is 24 hours per week, Mon-Fri, 6am–4pm, with flexibility in scheduling.

You will greet customers, advise on products, prepare and serve foods, and maintain hygiene standards across the deli and bakery counters. Training is provided, and we value a friendly, energetic team player who can deliver great service and a positive customer experience, with opportunities for development within

• No prior retail or foodservice experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Listen to and understand customers' needs; advise on products and services.
• Provide first-class service to all customers.
• Prepare, cook and bake goods while following food safety regulations.
• Keep prep areas and counters clean and tidy; assist with kitchen duties.
• Work as part of a team to keep deli counters fresh and appealing.

Pay rates ranging from £12.10 - £13.45 per hour depending on your age and great benefits.

Position in store:

24 hours (3 days out of 7) per week working within the opening hours of the department Monday to Friday, 6am - 4pm.

Our Deli's are a convenient place for our customers to stop for breakfast, lunch or great coffee on the go. Our hard-working and friendly team make it all happen- from preparing delicious food, delivering first class customer service at the deli counter, or maintaining great hygiene standards by keeping the prep and service areas clean. You’ll be supported by a team of brilliant people, and there are fantastic career development and progression opportunities.

As Daily Deli Team Member you will:

• Listening to and understanding our customers' needs and advising customers about our products and services.
• Provide a first class service to all of our customers.
• Prepare, cook and bake goods, working within food safety regulations.
• Keeping prep areas and counters clean and tidy, including kitchen porter and production kitchen duties.
• Work as part of a team to ensure all counters - SPAR Bakery and Daily deli remain fresh and appetizing for our customers.
• Undertake other duties as required for the role.

Skills for Success

• Don\'t worry if you have no previous retail or foodservice experience - we\'ll provide you with all the right training.
• Above all we are looking for team members with personality, passion, energy and a positive attitude who know how to make our customers smile and provide the very best experience!

Working Hours

Positions instore:

24 hours per week working within the opening hours of the department Monday to Friday, 6am - 4pm, with a degree of flexibility required.
