Job summary

Henderson Group is hiring a Deli Team Member for EUROSPAR Rossdowney (Co. Londonderry). This full-time role is 37.5 hours per week, with shift patterns 6:00am–3:00pm, Monday to Sunday, and some flexibility required.

You will help customers, prepare and serve fresh deli items, and maintain hygiene and food safety standards. Benefits include competitive pay (£11.90–£13.25 per hour depending on age) and a range of employee support and discount schemes.

Responsibilities

Our Deli's are a convenient place for our customers to stop for breakfast, lunch or great coffee on the go. Our hard-working and friendly team make it all happen- from preparing delicious food, delivering first class customer service at the deli counter, or maintaining great hygiene standards by keeping the prep and service areas clean. You'll be supported by a team of brilliant people, and there are fantastic career development and progression opportunities.

As Deli Team Member you will:

• Listening to and understanding our customers' needs and advising customers about our products and services.
• Provide a first-class service to all of our customers.
• Prepare, cook and bake goods, working within food safety regulations.
• Keeping prep areas and counters clean and tidy, including kitchen porter and production kitchen duties.
• Work as part of a team to ensure all counters - SPAR Bakery and deli remain fresh and appetizing for our customers.
• Undertake other duties as required for the role.

Skills for Success

• Don't worry if you have no previous retail or foodservice experience - we'll provide you with all the right training.
