Job summary

The Hollies Farm Shop is seeking a Deli Kitchen Assistant for a full-time role starting mid to end October. You will be responsible for food preparation, product display and maintaining a clean and hygienic deli/kitchen area to enhance customer experience with high-quality deli products.

You will perform daily compliance checks, manage stock and assist with deliveries while upholding food safety standards. Weekend flexibility and availability across Cheshire sites are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in deli/kitchen operations.
• Ability to maintain hygiene and food safety standards.
• Willingness to complete required training courses for compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare deli products, cut cheese, slice cold cuts, label foods.
• Carry out daily temperature checks and goods inwards checks.
• Arrange deli products attractively and rotate stock.
• Maintain clean, hygienic workstations and equipment.
• Monitor stock levels and help with deliveries and stock checks.
• Minimise food waste through rotation and promotions.
• Stay informed about origin, taste and preparation methods of deli products.
• Work collaboratively with the deli team and other departments.
• Be flexible to work weekends and across sites in Cheshire.
