Job summary

The Hollies Farm Shop in Cheshire is seeking a Deli Kitchen Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis, starting mid-October. You will prepare deli products, label and package for retail, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety for our customers.

You will also perform daily compliance checks, manage stock rotation, assist with displays, and work collaboratively with the deli team and other store departments to deliver exceptional service across Cheshire sites.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation: prepare deli products, label and package for retail, maintain quality and hygiene.
• Daily compliance records: perform temperature checks and daily monitoring, document digitally.
• Product display: arrange deli items attractively and maintain stock rotation.
• Cleanliness and hygiene: keep deli area clean, comply with food safety procedures.
• Stock management: monitor stock levels, assist with counts and inventory.
• Food waste reduction: minimize waste and repurpose surplus items where possible.
• Product knowledge: stay informed about origin, taste and preparation methods.
• Team collaboration: work with deli team and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Additional duties: weekend flexibility and ability to work across Cheshire sites.
