Job summary

CNA Hardy is hiring for a Delegated Underwriting Bordereaux and Operations Technician at our Norwich office. You will deliver accurate bordereaux and policy administration across our delegated underwriting portfolio.

The role requires handling data, contracts, and records within PAS and related systems, while coordinating with underwriting, claims, finance and external partners. You will support period-end controls and governance activities, aiming to strengthen processes and user experience,

Qualifications

• Experience in bordereaux processing or delegated authority.
• Knowledge of delegated underwriting and bordereaux structures.
• Proficiency with PAS and bordereaux management systems.
• Strong Excel data analysis and data manipulation skills.
• Excellent organisation and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Receive, validate, map, process and reconcile bordereaux.
• Resolve validation issues and maintain audit trails.
• Maintain delegated contracts, binders and policy records in the PAS.

The Role

We are currently hiring for a Delegated Underwriting Bordereaux and Operations Technician in our Norwich office to deliveraccurate,timelyand controlled bordereaux and policy administration across our delegated underwriting portfolio.

WhatYou’llBe Doing:

• Bordereaux operations:Receive,validate, map, process and reconcile risk, premium and claims bordereaux in line with contract terms and service levels.
• Data quality:Resolve validation failures, duplicates and incomplete records whilemaintainingaccurateaudit trails and regulatory data standards.
• Policy administration:Maintaindelegated contracts, binders, facilities,coverholdersand policy records in the PAS, including renewals and mid-term changes.
• Stakeholder support:Work across Underwriting, Claims, Finance, Credit Control, Data and Technology, as well as external partners, to resolve operational issues.
• Controls and improvement:Support period-end controls, governance reporting, systemtestingand root-cause analysis to strengthen processes and user experience.

WhatWe’reLooking For:

• Relevant market experience:Bring experience in bordereaux processing, delegated authority, underwriting operations, technicalaccountingor a comparable London Market role.
• Delegated underwriting knowledge:Understand delegated arrangements and the structure and purpose of risk, premium and claims bordereaux.
• Systems and data capability:Confidentlyvalidate, cleanse, map, upload and reconcile data using a PAS, insuranceplatformand bordereaux management systems.
• Demonstrate strong Excel skills: Ability to analyse large data sets accurately. Familiarity with advanced Excel features, data manipulation and reporting techniques is desirable.
• Organisation and communication:Manage recurring deadlines and competing priorities while engaging stakeholders clearly and challenging late or poor-quality submissions constructively.
