Job summary

Chaucer Group in London invites applications for an entry-level Operations role within the Operations Business Partnering team. The role focuses on capturing, processing, reporting and controlling business data, and coordinating third party business partners involved in these processes.

You will monitor daily queries, KPI/CRM metrics, complete daybook entries, and support data enrichment and reporting across departments. A great first step in an operations career within UK financial services.

Qualifications

  • GCSE Maths and English at minimum.
  • Further education qualifications (A-Levels, NVQ, apprenticeship or equivalent).
  • Experience in general office administration desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Daily monitoring of a dedicated mailbox with SLA adherence.
  • KPI/CRM monitoring and weekly reporting to other departments.
  • Complete daybook entries and Wizards as required; attach slips in workflow system.
  • Data enrichment and checks on Charisma entries; investigate anomalies and report on quality.
  • Coordinate exception reports and address issues using RCA; liaise with partners and Velonetic technicians.
  • Maintain policy history through organisation and filing; assist pricing models.
  • Support maintenance of Business Partner procedures and attend meetings as required.

Job description

This role works within the Operations Business Partnering team, which is responsible for ensuring that Chaucer captures, processes, reports and controls business data correctly and efficiently. The Team also has responsibility for managing third party business partners involved in these data management processes.

This is an entry-level operations position that would suit someone interested in building an operations career in UK financial services.

Job Description
  • Daily monitoring of dedicated mailbox ensuring all queries are answered within SLA
  • KPI/CRM monitoring
  • Completion of daybook entries and Wizards where necessary
  • Attaching slips in main workflow system and data enrichment
  • Checking Charisma entries, investigating anomalies and reporting on quality
  • Co-ordinating exception reports and addressing issues using RCA
  • Close liaison with Business Partners and Velonetic technicians
  • General maintenance of policy history, which involves organisation and filing
  • Completion of pricing models
  • Preparing and distributing weekly reports to other departments
  • Assist in the maintenance, review and updates to Business Partner procedure manuals
  • Preparation of materials and attendance meetings as required by the Business Partner
  • Answering queries from Chaucer’s outsourcing team
  • Supporting Underwriting teams in daily tasks
  • Debt analysis
  • Liaison with other departments such as Reinsurance, Exposure Management & Compliance
  • Support UAT as required
  • Support ad hoc requests from the Head of Operations Business Partnering & Group Head of Operations
