Job summary

TXO is seeking an on-site Deinstallation Operative in Andover to join our field operations. This role offers a clear progression path into lead, specialist, and senior project positions within telecoms and equipment services.

You will handle site equipment deinstallations, loading/unloading from vans, stock tagging, deliveries to client sites, and recycling preparation. A full UK driving licence, basic disclosure check, and the ability to travel Mon-Thu are required.

Qualifications

• Independent worker but good team player.
• Physical strength and ability to safely handle equipment; some of which can be very heavy requiring two people or lifting equipment.
• Ability to work under own initiative, whilst meeting the standards of the company's documented quality and environmental systems.
• PC skills, especially Word and Excel

• Rack collections
• Delivery of equipment to recycle centres
• Movement of equipment to TXO warehouses
• Record serial numbers of stock items
• Assist with stock takes and inventory counting
• Prepare stock for recycling
• Prepare stock for transport to warehouse
• Labelling stock items

Job Function

Reporting to the Head of Projects and Onsite Engineering Lead, this exciting opportunity allows you to start on-site and grow into something bigger. This is more than a deinstallation role, it's a structured pathway into telecommunications, with training and progression towards Team Lead, Technical Specialist, and senior project roles.

Main Duties/responsibilities

• Site Equipment Deinstallations


• Unloading of equipment from site vans


• Physical de-installation of telecoms equipment.


• Recovery of redundant cable systems


• De-installation of infrastructure such as unistrut, cable tray and basket.


• Moving equipment to staging area / loading bays.


• Loading equipment onto vans / lorries

• Delivery of equipment & consumables to work site


• Delivery of equipment to clients' sites


• Collect equipment from clients' sites


• Rack collections


• Delivery of equipment to recycle centres


• Movement of equipment to TXO warehouses

Detailing Assets

• Record serial numbers of stock items.


• Assist with stock takes and inventory counting


• Prepare stock for recycling


• Prepare stock for transport to warehouse


• Labelling stock items

About You

• Up to £31,000 basic salary
