We're looking for a Degree Apprentice Engineer to join our Construction team based in HMP Lancaster Farms, Lancaster working towards a Level 6 apprenticeship in Construction Site Management.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading construction and infrastructure services company on an apprenticeship. Whilst working towards a recognised qualification, you'll be able to put your learnings into practice in your day-to-day role, helping you progress within your chosen career.

Location: HMP Lancaster Farms, Lancaster

Hours: 40hrs per week

Salary: £22,000 per annum - with salary earning potential of £38k+ upon completion of the course!

Start date: September 2025

How does a degree apprenticeship work?

As a Degree Apprentice Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to gain practical experience whilst you study towards a BSc Construction Site Management with our university partner, Sheffield Hallam, all tuition and accommodation fees covered by us.

You'll work closely with the Construction team to design and deliver buildings that are key to the UK's infrastructure

Your Day To Day Will Include

• Supporting the development of construction project schedules
• Assisting in preparing reports on project progress, risks, and issues
• Maintaining records of schedules, budgets, and project updates
• Identifying potential risks or delays in the project schedule
• Assisting the setting out engineer for elements of the buildings being constructed
• Supporting the site managers for general running of the construction site
• Attending university during pre-determined block weeks to attend lectures and meet other students on your course
  
  
  

What are we looking for?

To Enrol Onto Your Degree, You Will Need

• Level 4 or above in GCSE Maths and English
• 2 A-Levels
• Level 3 BTEC National Certificate / Diploma / Extended Diploma Or Advanced Diploma in a construction related topic
• Other Level 3 BTEC qualifications will also be considered, preferably with some work experience
