Job summary

Wintermute is seeking a motivated DeFi researcher to join our team. You will research on-chain protocols and run data-driven experiments to deepen our understanding of decentralized finance.

You’ll work across multiple codebases and languages with traders and developers, exploring protocol microstructure and design mechanisms while receiving mentorship and contributing to innovative market-making strategies.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Rust or Python and ability to work across codebases.
• Experience with Linux environments and Git version control.
• Experience with programmatic statistical analysis and quantitative skills.
• High level understanding of high-frequency market making strategies.
• Understanding of blockchain fundamentals and EVM mechanics.
• Familiarity with smart contract development and the Foundry toolkit.
• A passion for learning about protocol microstructure and design mechanisms.

Responsibilities
