Job summary

Core Talent Recruitment is seeking a Systems Engineer for a defense client based in Fareham. This permanent role requires you to be in the office three days a week and you must be eligible for Security Clearance.

We are looking for engineers who have previously worked in Defence to hit the ground running, with strong MATLAB, DOORS experience and full lifecycle expertise. You will join a proactive team delivering complex control systems and verification tasks in a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Worked within Defence to hit the ground running.
• Strong requirements analysis and management skills.
• Continuous Integration and Testing experience.
• Experience with DOORS for systems engineering.
• Ambitious and proactive problem-solver in complex engineering domains.
• Based in Fareham with willingness to work at the office 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Advanced MATLAB proficiency is required.
• Model verification, configuration control and model release processes.
• Continuous Integration and Testing responsibilities.
• Experience as a systems engineer using DOORS.
• Full V Life Cycle experience across projects.
• Strong requirements analysis and management throughout the lifecycle.
