Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd in London seeks an Industrial Placement Analytics Engineer to perform weapon system assessments for the UK MOD. You will apply STEM and analytical skills to real-world problems, using Python and in-house tools, and interact with a cross-functional team in a defence analytics setting.

You will produce reports and presentations for MOD customers, deliver ad hoc support, and travel for technical exchanges with partners in the UK and beyond.

Qualifications

• STEM background with numerical and analytical focus.
• Ability to apply scientific methods to real world problems.
• Good communication and teamwork in cross-disciplinary settings.
• Willingness to work in central London office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis using physical principles on real world problems using Python and in-house tools.
• Produce reports and presentations for MOD customers and wider community.
• Provide ad hoc advice and support to MOD customers, often at short notice.
• Travel for technical exchanges with partners in the UK and abroad.
