Defendant Personal Injury Lawyer

Location: Cardiff

Work Arrangement: Fully Hybrid

A regional law firm is looking for a Defendant Personal Injury Lawyer to join their market-leading team in Cardiff. Our client is a top-tier firm featured in Chambers UK, with many Partners recognized as leaders in their field. This role offers an excellent opportunity to establish yourself in a leading law firm. The firm supports training and development and offers benefits typical of a corporate law firm.

Please note: You need to have multi-track, large loss PI (100k+) experience. You do not need to be a qualified Solicitor.

Responsibilities include:

• Handling a varied caseload of Defendant Litigated files from start to finish
• Negotiating and assessing liability on RTA cases
• Reviewing and valuing medical evidence
• Supporting Senior Fee Earners with complex cases
• Providing commercially focused legal advice
• Promoting and representing the firm's values
• Maintaining and developing technical knowledge

Required experience:

• Handling personal injury files
• Experience in litigation
• Excellent client relationship skills
• Ability to promote the firm
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
