Job summary

Electus Recruitment is seeking a Test Development Engineer in Stevenage. Take ownership of hardware development and support the full product lifecycle within a defence systems environment.

You will lead work packages, contribute to design reviews, and collaborate with international teams. A British citizen with SC clearance is required. The role offers hybrid working and a £43,000 salary with a potential £2,500 annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Proven hardware design experience across product lifecycle.
• Experience with test methods and validation activities.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and reports.
• Experience with environmental and EMC testing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support development, integration and validation of test system hardware.
• Contribute throughout design lifecycle including reviews and risk reduction.
• Provide engineering support to manufacturing and integration teams.
• Assist with validation and qualification to ensure performance.
• Lead defined work packages and coordinate deliveries against project objectives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an international environment.
