Project Engineer - Simulation and Test

Take ownership of complex testing and simulation activities that directly support the development of advanced defence systems. Build broad technical expertise, work across multiple engineering disciplines and develop skills that can accelerate your long-term career progression.

Essential requirements

• British Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance
• Experience within testing, simulation, systems integration or performance analysis
• Structured approach to technical problem solving and investigation
• Ability to work with complex engineering systems and multiple technical interfaces
• Comfortable working with technical specialists and cross-functional engineering teams

Salary and rewards

Up to £46,000 depending on experience, plus an annual performance-related bonus scheme.

What you will be doing

• Develop and maintain complex real-time simulations used to support system development and validation
• Conduct testing activities using a combination of software models, integrated equipment and representative hardware
• Investigate system behaviour, diagnose issues and support integration activitiesAnalyse performance data and produce clear technical reports and recommendations
• Collaborate with subject matter experts across multiple engineering disciplines
• Support the preparation and execution of testing programmes throughout the product lifecycle

Your experience

• System integration and interface troubleshooting experience
• Testing, verification or validation of systems, sub-systems or sensors
• Experience of simulation development or real-time software environments
• Performance analysis and interpretation of technical data
