Job summary

RTX is seeking a Solution Architect to design secure, interoperable architectures for Joint Collective Training across UK Defence and allied partners. The role spans modelling, simulation, networking, and data exploitation, ensuring systems integration and operational readiness.

You will work with Chief Engineer and a diverse ecosystem of suppliers to deliver scalable training ecosystems, meeting security and interoperability standards for Tier 3 and Tier 4 exercises.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect within Defence, Government, or regulated programmes.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable solution architectures aligned with programme objectives.
• Lead systems integration across simulation, CIS, and training systems.
• Analyse requirements from military stakeholders and translate into architectures.
• Develop HLDs/LLDs, technical specs, and interface definitions.
• Support security accreditation, risk management, and governance activities.
