Job summary

Compass Group UK is seeking a dedicated Supervisor to ensure smooth operations in Defence on a full-time basis (35 hours per week) with a 50.2 week per year contract. The role involves supervising frontline teams, managing deliveries and stock, and ensuring compliance with food hygiene and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising frontline teams in similar environments.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Check and store deliveries promptly and correctly.
• Supervise a team and foster a welcoming, supportive work environment.
• Act as a responsible key holder.
• Assist with weekly bookwork and other duties as required.
• Produce weekly rotas following manager's guidelines.
• Place orders to maintain stock levels.
• Delegate tasks and ensure team remains proactive.
• Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations.
