Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation Mission Systems UK in St Athan is seeking a Project Engineer to help deliver secure communications and information systems in complex operating environments. You will translate requirements into practical solutions, coordinate engineering activities, support integration and delivery, and produce key technical documentation.

You will act as the technical interface across SNC MS UK, customers and suppliers, manage risks and assure compliance with Defence standards,

Qualifications

• Degree, HNC/HND or apprenticeship in engineering.
• Experience supporting engineering projects through lifecycle.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience producing technical documentation and project records.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical interface between SNC MS UK, customers, suppliers and project teams.
• Translate customer and operational needs into clear engineering requirements.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Occasional travel and on-site engagement as required.
