Job summary

Matchtech is seeking an experienced I&FS Project Controller for a 12-month contract based in Warton. The role focuses on controlling infrastructure and facility projects within the Defence & Security sector, demanding strong project control expertise.

You will monitor progress, report to stakeholders, manage risks, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure milestones are met. The position is on-site three days a week with standard hours and Inside IR35 compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project control within infrastructure and facilities
• Strong ability to coordinate multiple workstreams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Experience with risk assessment and mitigation strategies
• Proficiency with project management tools and software
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Advanced knowledge of Excel

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage project progress, ensuring alignment with established timelines and budgets
• Provide comprehensive project reporting and updates to stakeholders
• Coordinate with various teams to ensure project milestones are met
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with project delivery
