Job summary

Outsource UK is seeking a seasoned Business Case Manager to drive strategic investment cases in defence programmes. You will develop and deliver SOC, OBC and FBC across complex capital projects, aligning with HM Treasury Green Book guidance and the Five Case Model.

You will collaborate with programme teams and senior clients to craft robust business cases, facilitate workshops, and champion governance and approvals through the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience developing Green Book compliant business cases, influencing senior decision makers and supporting major programmes through complex approval processes.
• Experience producing SOC, OBC and FBC submissions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of SOC, OBC and FBC to support investment decisions.
• Apply HM Treasury Green Book principles and the Five Case Model.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions to gather information.
• Develop and maintain business case strategies, plans and documentation.
• Undertake options analysis and value for money assessments.
• Produce reports, presentations and submissions for senior decision makers.
• Support governance, assurance and approvals throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with programme management, project controls, planning, commercial and technical teams.
• Build relationships with clients and stakeholders to provide trusted advice.
