Job summary

Axis CLC Group is seeking an experienced Painter to deliver planned and reactive maintenance across MOD sites in the Marham region. You will perform internal and external painting, surface prep, wallpaper removal, and ensure work meets quality and safety standards within secure defence environments.

Ideal candidates hold NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting & Decorating (or time-served equivalent), have a Full UK driving licence, and can obtain MOD security clearance.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Painting & Decorating (or time-served equivalent).
Experience in refurbishment, maintenance or repairs with painting/decorating skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Carry out internal and external painting and decorating across refurbishment and maintenance projects.
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling and priming.
Apply paint, emulsion, gloss, stains and other finishes.
Wallpaper removal and decorating repairs as required.
Maintain tools and ensure a clean, safe working environment.
Deliver services in secure MOD environments with high standards.
