Wright Staff Recruitment Ltd in Worcestershire is seeking a Paint Sprayer to join a defence-sector manufacturing team. You will apply wet paints to high-quality components and work on safety-critical projects in a stable, full-time role.

The job offers competitive pay with a rate of £13.49-£15.50 per hour (DOE up to £31 with overtime), plus training and progression opportunities, a company pension, cycle-to-work, and free on-site parking at our Worcestershire facility.

Qualifications

• Wet paint spraying experience in industrial or automotive settings.
• Understanding COSHH and safe PPE use.
• Ability to follow instructions and deliver consistent results.
• Positive, proactive attitude and ability to work on your own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Apply wet paints to a consistent, high-quality finish.
• Mix paints to correct ratios.
• Use gloss and thickness meters to check finishes.
• Prepare and jig up production workpieces.
• Follow paint specifications, gloss levels and thickness requirements.
• Follow COSHH and H&S procedures while using PPE.
• Move quickly between jobs with minimal supervision.
• Organise workflow to keep production on track.
