Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a New Business Project Manager for defence and advanced engineering programmes in Stevenage. You will lead and coordinate bid activities, guiding cross-functional teams to develop compelling proposals and deliver successful outcomes across domestic and international opportunities.

The role offers exposure to senior stakeholders, governance forums, and long-term programme mobilisation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading bid management and multi-functional teams.
• Strong ability to translate complex information into actionable plans.
• Excellent organisational and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate bid and proposal activities from enquiry to submission.
• Manage end-to-end bid lifecycle to meet quality, cost, and schedule targets.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, procurement, finance, and commercial teams.
• Develop cost models, schedules, risks, assumptions and business cases.
• Ensure bids are compliant, auditable and aligned with customer requirements.
• Support contract mobilisation and transition after award.
• Provide progress updates to senior leadership and governance forums.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders including international partners.
• Coordinate bid reviews and executive presentations.
• Support audits and governance activities and promote best practices across teams.
