Job summary

Matchtech is recruiting a Mechanical Manufacturing Technician for a secure site in the UK. The role involves production, repair, and modification of products to exact build standards, with opportunities across a multinational defence-focused organisation.

Applicants must be able to obtain Security Clearance and hold British nationality. The role is onsite five days a week, with a strong emphasis on quality, documentation, and safety in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Utilise a broad range of technical skills across multiple manufacturing activities.
• Operate and maintain the equipment, tools, and measuring instruments used throughout the manufacturing process.
• Meet production, inspection, and testing deadlines in line with operational requirements.
• Accurately complete all manufacturing and quality-related documentation.
• Consistently deliver work to the highest standards of craftsmanship and product quality.
• Ensure full compliance with all manufacturing procedures, processes, and quality standards.
• Certify products in accordance with established certification procedures.
• Maintain product certification and approvals through regular audit activity.
• Adhere to all health and safety requirements, contributing to a safe working environment.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation.
• Share knowledge, expertise, and best practices with colleagues to support team success.

Education

Apprenticeship (Advanced Level)

Level 3 Qualification in Engineering/Manufacturing

NVQ in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/Manufacturing
