Job summary

Northrop Grumman UK is seeking a Material Controller to oversee the flow of materials, maintain stock visibility, and ensure availability for production schedules. You will report to the Logistics Manager and work with cross-functional teams to meet mission-critical commitments.

The role emphasises accuracy, governance and continuous improvement within a defence-focused logistics environment. UK security clearance and ability to obtain SC clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in stock control or inventory management, ideally in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office tools.
• Team collaboration across multiple functions and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Production Control, Supply Chain, Mission Assurance, Logistics and the warehouse to ensure materials and equipment are available when required.
