Job summary

Compass Group UK&I's Defence, Government and Energy Services arm is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our team, working a full-time 35-hour week. You will help deliver high-quality meals, uphold hygiene, and support smooth kitchen operations in a defence environment.

The role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work under pressure across shifts, contributing to a strong brand image and excellent customer service for military establishments and related sites.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.

• Assisting with loading or unloading deliveries and supply vehicles.
• Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.
