Sodexo Ltd is seeking a Chef for a busy MOD catering environment at St Davids Barracks. You will assist in meal prep, cooking, and service, upholding food-safety standards and working with the front-of-house team to deliver excellent service to military personnel.

The role emphasizes high-quality cooking, bulk kitchen operations, and participation in events, with opportunities to contribute to a fast-paced, professional setting.

Qualifications

• Professional chef with experience in catering or hospitality settings.
• Recognised culinary qualifications (City & Guilds 706/1 & 2, NVQ Level 2/3) required.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and health regulations.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, team-focused environment.
• Passion for cooking and delivering top-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation, cooking, and service of meals in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene per EHO guidelines.
• Collaborate with front-of-house to deliver outstanding service.
• Cook and serve meals to military personnel, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Oversee kitchen sanitation and best practices.
