Job summary

Babcock International is seeking a Senior Inventory Manager to lead the Military Satellite Communications Inventory team and ensure accurate, timely reporting for the contract. You will engage with MoD stakeholders and drive continuous improvement in inventory controls.

You will manage data-driven processes, own the contract inventory policies, and work across Procurement, Logistics, Service Delivery and Finance to optimise performance. Hybrid working with office days is available.

Qualifications

• Experience in Defence sector inventory/supply chain/logistics management.
• Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Experience leading a team and reviewing data with Excel (lookups, pivot tables).

Responsibilities

• Maintain accountability of the contract Public Stores Account and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Lead the Military Satellite Communications Inventory team and oversee day-to-day activities.
• Collaborate with project Procurement and Logistics teams and wider project departments.
