Job summary

A leading infrastructure services provider in the UK is looking for a SCIDA Field Engineer to ensure high standards in Defence ICT systems. You will be responsible for delivering SCIDA services, conducting inspections, and supporting compliance across multiple locations including Blandford Forum and Swanwick. Candidates should have experience in Defence or Telecoms, excellent technical skills, and the ability to manage multiple sites independently. Full right to work in the UK and SC Clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• SCIDA Foundation courses mandatory for engineers.
• Experience in SCIDA or related Defence ICT fields.
• Strong technical reporting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SCIDA services ensuring compliance with Air SCIDA Engineering Instructions.
• Conduct design reviews and identify compliance risks.
• Report non-compliances in installations and designs.

Skills

Strong technical documentation

Communication with senior stakeholders

Compliance and inspection experience

Ability to work independently

Knowledge of H&S regulations

Education

SCIDA Foundation courses

Tools

Knowledge of JSP 440 and JSP 453

Working knowledge of MoD CIS/ICT/ATM systems
