Babcock is seeking an Estates Ground Worker for the Devonport Royal Dockyard in Plymouth. You will support grounds maintenance and civil works, developing practical skills in a secure operational environment while upholding high safety and quality standards.

Working 35 hours per week on site, you will carry out reactive and planned tasks, install drainage and infrastructure, and support civil engineering activities to keep the site safe and functional.

Formación

• Experience in groundwork, construction, maintenance or related civil engineering activities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Confident communication with customers, colleagues and stakeholders.
• Ability to work across a large operational site and undertake physically active duties.
• Good understanding of groundwork and maintenance practices.

Responsabilidades

• Carrying out reactive and planned grounds maintenance activities.
• Installing and maintaining drains, covers and associated infrastructure.
• Completing tarmacking and concreting works across the site.
• Installing and maintaining barriers and safety structures.
• Supporting general civil engineering and groundwork activities to maintain site safety and functionality.
