Job summary

Trevett Project Services is recruiting a Project Manager to lead defence estates and construction projects at Shoeburyness, Essex. You will manage a diverse portfolio from refurbishment to new build, ensuring delivery across the full lifecycle from planning through handover.

Working pattern is 37 hours per week with hybrid work and a minimum of three days on site. APM/PRINCE2/PMP qualification and security clearance eligibility are required to operate in a defence environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering construction and refurbishment projects.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts is advantageous.
• Familiarity with CDM Regulations and Building Regulations.
• Understanding of Planning applications and GPDO processes.
• Awareness of sustainability and energy considerations in project delivery.
• Experience managing contractors and technical works.
• Strong budget, programme and commercial management.
• Defence environments and JSP standards experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing projects from planning and procurement through to delivery and handover.
• Developing delivery and procurement strategies with the Procurement Team.
• Overseeing budgets, cost plans and financial performance.
• Coordinating principal contractors, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Overseeing construction, refurbishment and building-related works.
• Managing project programmes, risks, documentation and reporting.
• Ensuring delivery is safe, compliant, on time and within budget.
• Managing contracts and third-party project documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations and Building Regulations.
• Transitioning completed projects into ongoing operation with FM teams.
