Job summary

Cirrus Selection is recruiting an Environmental Project Engineer based in Stevenage with hybrid working and a salary up to £55,000, plus a bonus and a 14% pension. This role centers on defining environmental requirements and leading qualification and proving strategies, delivering tests from concept to certification and in-service support.

You will work with Systems, Design and Proving teams, ensuring environmental compliance is embedded in early design decisions, not added later.

Qualifications

• Experience across vibration, shock, temperature, humidity and environmental standards in a regulated/defence-led environment.
• Ability to define environmental requirements and shape qualification strategies.
• Strong communication and prioritisation skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define environmental requirements and shaping qualification and proving strategies.
• Deliver test activities from concept through to certification and in-service support.
• Act as technical interface for work packages and ensure environmental compliance is built in.
