Job summary

iO Associates is seeking an Enterprise Data Architect to lead data architecture across a Defence programme, shaping governance, platforms and AI-enabled capabilities. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders, enterprise architects, data governance and engineering teams to define and evolve the organisation’s enterprise data architecture.

Key responsibilities include defining roadmaps, modeling data, establishing standards and supporting metadata, data quality, and data catalogue

Qualifications

Proven experience in enterprise data architecture within government or Defence environments.
Experience with data modelling, governance and metadata management.
Familiarity with TOGAF, ArchiMate and NAF/MODAF.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience enabling AI, analytics and data platforms.

Responsibilities

Define and evolve enterprise data architecture and target-state roadmaps.
Develop conceptual, logical and physical data models.
Establish enterprise-wide data standards, governance and architectural principles.
Support data platforms, metadata, data quality and data catalogue initiatives.
Ensure data architecture supports AI, analytics and knowledge graph capabilities.
Work with senior business, technical and military stakeholders.
