Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Electronics Design Engineer for a Broad Oak-based, hybrid role on a 12-month contract. The position offers £81.90 per hour Umbrella inside IR35, with 3-4 days on site per week.

You will develop component-level designs for volume production, covering digital interfaces, ADC/DAC and analogue design, FPGA/CPLD, and high-power techniques, while meeting cost and timescale constraints for a leading defence organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronic design for volume production.
• Experience in defence or high-safety environment is preferred.
• Ability to work within cost and timescales constraints.

Responsibilities

• Generate component level electronic designs for volume production.
• Digital design including processor interfacing and communication protocols.
• ADC/DAC and analogue design work.
• High power techniques and safe operation.
• Design proving, integration, and defect resolution.
• Gather evidence for acceptance, fitness for purpose, safety and compliance.
