Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Electrical Test Technician for a defence-related role at their Bolton site. The position involves hands-on electrical testing, fault diagnosis, and certification of complex electronic products in line with strict quality and safety standards.

Applicants should have a Level 3 Apprenticeship or ONC/BTEC with relevant NVQ Level 3, strong electrical test experience, and awareness of ESD and manual handling. BPSS basics apply after offer stage.

Qualifications

• Completed Level 3 Apprenticeship or Level 3 Engineering qualification with NVQ Level 3
• Proven electrical test experience (mid to senior level)
• ESD awareness and manual handling knowledge
• No blindness

Responsibilities

• Electrical testing of electronic equipment and assemblies
• Test setup, equipment use and calibration awareness
• Fault finding and basic rectification at equipment level
• Accurate completion of test records and documentation
• Working to defined workmanship, safety and quality procedures
