Job summary

Gregory-Martin International is seeking a Principal Consultant to lead major systems engineering projects across defence and related sectors. You will shape architectures, drive MBSE approaches, and guide bids while mentoring mid-level consultants.

The role requires extensive consultancy experience, strong stakeholder engagement with UK defence bodies, and a degree or equivalent experience. Hybrid working and a competitive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Extensive systems engineering consulting experience.
• Defence/secure programmes knowledge and experience.
• UK MOD/stakeholder engagement experience.
• Ability to lead and mentor consulting teams.
• Degree or equivalent education required.

Responsibilities

• Lead major consulting projects with technical excellence and client satisfaction.
• Provide strategic advice on systems engineering for defence programmes.
• Lead architecture development, system integration strategies, and technical roadmaps.
• Drive business development, identify opportunities, and contribute to bids.
• Mentor and develop internal capability and training initiatives.
