Job summary

MERITUS are recruiting for a Building & Construction Project Manager to join our client within the defence sector on a 12-month contract from their site in Stevenage. This role requires BPSS clearance, with current SC clearance highly advantageous.

UK Nationals only. The role involves leading CAPEX and infrastructure projects from feasibility through to handover, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing cost, quality and schedule objectives on refurbishment, building services and plant

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering construction, infrastructure or building services projects from inception through handover.
• Experience managing CAPEX projects and controlling project budgets.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience.
• Experience using MS Project, SharePoint or similar PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead CAPEX and infrastructure projects from feasibility through to handover.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams and external contractors.
• Ensure delivery aligns with cost, quality and schedule objectives.
• Oversee design, procurement and construction phases while engaging stakeholders and services.
