Electus Recruitment is seeking a talented engineer to shape advanced imaging systems for defence. You will research and develop image processing and computer vision algorithms, applying AI/ML to solve complex imaging challenges.

Collaboration with multiple engineering disciplines will drive technical innovation and system performance. The role emphasizes mathematical modeling, rigorous evaluation, and ongoing professional development in a specialist environment.

Qualifications

• Degree with strong mathematical content in maths, physics, engineering or CS.
• Experience in computer vision, image processing or ML/AI through work or research.
• Ability to work with Python and MATLAB; Simulink familiarity is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Research, develop and evaluate image processing and computer vision algorithms for defence applications.
• Apply AI/ML techniques to complex imaging challenges.
• Explore methods like segmentation, tracking, detection, classification and computational imaging.
• Use mathematical modelling and evaluation to improve system performance for engineers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers to advance emerging technologies.
