Job summary

Searchability in Farnborough, UK is seeking a Security Architect to lead secure delivery across internal and MOD projects, collaborating with Software Engineering, DevSecOps, Infrastructure and Cyber teams.

You'll design security architectures for complex systems, assess threats and apply secure-by-design principles, manage risk and ensure emerging technologies are deployed securely in government environments. Active SC clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience designing secure government systems deployed to cloud environments.
• Security architecture and security risk management experience.
• Threat assessment experience using STRIDE.
• Experience within DevSecOps and Kubernetes environments.
• Understanding of secure-by-design principles.
• Hands-on security engineering experience within Azure and M365.
• Knowledge of MOD security policies JSP 440, JSP 453/604 and JSP 892.
• Knowledge of Agile and CI/CD within secure environments.
• Strong written documentation and technical design skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the secure delivery of internal and MOD projects.
• Develop security architectures for complex systems.
• Provide strategic direction on security projects; manage security risk.
• Produce evidence against relevant MOD regulations.
• Assess threats and vulnerabilities, design mitigations and secure emerging technologies.
