Job summary

Anson McCade is recruiting for a Bid Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to support a major future defence air programme. The role spans the UK and international partners, shaping winning propositions and investment plans to strengthen bids.

The position offers hybrid working with 2–3 days on-site, with Stevenage or Bristol as preferred locations, plus a company bonus and pension contributions. Flexi Leave and overtime opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or contributing to defence bid campaigns.
• Ability to coordinate across technical, commercial and finance teams.
• Proven track record in delivering compelling proposals.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent bidding activities across the UK and international partners.
• Develop compelling proposals balancing customer needs, technical solutions and commercial considerations.
• Support business cases, roadmaps and investment plans to strengthen bids.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to adapt to changing requirements and improve win probability.
• Leverage experience in project management, bid management or contract acquisition.
• Contribute to technical or engineering bids when required.
