Job summary

Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Deep Cleaning Operative (Band 2) to join the Derwent Unit in Chesterfield. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with early start times (6am–3pm or 7am–3pm) and alternate weekends. Salary is £25,272 per annum, pro rata.

You will provide a high-standard deep cleaning service across facilities, supporting safe and compassionate patient care within Derbyshire’s NHS services.

Qualifications

  • Professional driving experience is required.
  • Working knowledge of health and safety practices.
  • Good communication skills are essential.

Main duties of the job

The role undertakes deep cleaning duties to support services within Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, working predominantly at the Derwent Unit, which is based within the Chesterfield Royal Hospital

The post holder will provide a high-quality deep cleaning service as a member of a small but dedicated team whilst being flexible to accommodate the changing requirements of the services we support.
