Purple DPSS is seeking a dependable female Personal Assistant/Support Worker for a 42-year-old woman in Cressing, CM77. The role is Saturdays, 9:00–21:00, with maternity cover and potential additional hours by mutual agreement.

You will work in a two-person team to provide daily living support, including personal care, mobility, nutrition, and community activities. Applicants should have care experience, be calm and patient, and hold a full UK driving licence for a Motability vehicle.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care and support for individuals with complex health needs is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively despite non-verbal cues and understand routines.

Responsabilités

• Safe transfers using overhead and mobile hoists.
• Support with wheelchair positioning and mobility.
• Administer nutrition, hydration and PEG medications.
• Provide respiratory support including inhalers, nebuliser and suction.
• Personal care including toileting, catheter management, showering, dressing and skin care.
• Maintain specialist equipment and household organisation.
• Accompany the client to social activities and appointments.
• Support communication with friends and family via technology.
• Promote wellbeing, independence and social inclusion.
• Work as part of a two-person support team.
