Job summary

Purple DPSS is seeking a Part-time Female Support Worker / Personal Assistant to help a 54-year-old lady with MS at home in Doncaster. The role involves daily household tasks, personal care, and companionship, with some driving to appointments. DBS check, Right to Work, and references are required.

Hours are 3 per week (Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday) at £12.71 per hour. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting someone with MS would be beneficial.
• Willingness to help and be patient are essential.
• DBS check, Right to Work and references required.
• Comfortable working alone and able to provide practical household support.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support, including showering.
• Assist with daily living tasks and housekeeping (laundry, bed linen, light chores).
• Support with shopping trips and accompany to medical appointments.
• Offer friendly companionship and conversation to maintain independence.
• Drive me to appointments and activities when required.
