I have an established support team, a small group of friends, and enjoy maintaining an active and rewarding social life.

The person I would like… I am looking for a reliable, caring and experienced female Personal Assistant who can become part of my established support team. You will have previous care experience and an understanding of providing person-centred support to individuals with complex needs. You should be calm, patient, a good communicator and able to work well both independently and as part of a team. It is important that you can engage with me despite communication barriers, support my interests and help me access opportunities within the community. You must be enthusiastic, dependable, punctual and committed to helping me live a full and rewarding life. A full driving licence is essential as you will be required to drive my automatic wheelchair-accessible Motability vehicle. As some personal care is involved, I would feel more comfortable with a female carer. This advert complies with the Sex Discrimination Act (1975) Section 7 (2b).
