Job summary

PYRA Construction Solutions in Mansfield is seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator for a care home refurbishment. You will be painting communal areas, preparing surfaces, and applying emulsion and gloss finishes in an occupied site, with a focus on high quality workmanship and safety.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS Card required.
• NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating required.
• Own brushes and decorating tools required.
• Experience on commercial refurbishment projects preferred.
• Ability to work independently and maintain high workmanship.
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Paint and decorate communal areas, corridors and shared spaces.
• Prepare surfaces: filling, sanding and making good.
• Apply emulsion and gloss finishes to walls, ceilings, doors and woodwork.
• Carry out internal decorating and refurbishment works.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.

The Opportunity

PYRA Construction Solutions are currently looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator to work on a care home refurbishment project in Mansfield.

The successful candidate will be carrying out general painting and decorating works throughout the communal areas of an occupied care home, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Decorator looking for consistent work through until Christmas.

Duties Will Include

• Painting and decorating communal areas, corridors and shared spaces.
• Preparing surfaces, including filling, sanding and making good.
• Applying emulsion and gloss finishes to walls, ceilings, doors and woodwork.
• Carrying out general internal decorating and refurbishment works.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Working professionally and respectfully within an occupied care home.
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high-quality finish.
