Job summary

Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a strategic leader to deliver and continuously improve decontamination services across its east London hospitals. You will oversee multi-site operations, ensure HTM/ISO compliance, and drive safe, high-performing practices aligned with patient safety and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience leading decontamination services across multiple sites.
• Knowledge of HTM standards and ISO accreditation.
• Ability to develop and deliver a Trust-wide decontamination strategy.
• Experience managing contracts and budgets.
• Strong collaboration with IPC and clinical divisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all decontamination processes across the Trust.
• Lead development, implementation and continuous improvement of decontamination protocols.
• Provide assurance to the Executive Team, IPC and Clinical Divisions.
• Lead specialist decontamination staff and designated persons.
• Manage contracts, budgets and procurement for equipment and service provision.
